Ollie turned 3 on Saturday and to celebrate we had a birthday party for him. It was the first party we have had since moving in 3 months ago and it was fun to show off all the hard work my husband has done on the house since we got the keys back in July. We used the party as a motivator to get a lot of renovating done as we knew a lot of our family and friends would be coming to check our progress. I even managed to talk Jared in to repairing and painting the dining room before the party (and by 'talked in to' I mean I removed a dodgy piece of plaster while he was a soccer one night leaving a hole in the wall that he couldn't leave there....). Ollie loves Herbie the love bug so I made him a Herbie satchel bag-
Embroidered him a Herbie tshirt with my new embroidery machine-

Everyone had a wonderful time in the warm weather playing and eating BBQ and salad for lunch. At the end of the day Ollie was so tired he fell asleep under the coffee table.
